Wilson Ramos Rally Horn Good For 3 Runs And A Win

DC Sports Nexus ---- Thursday, September 4, 2014

During the 14th and deciding inning of the Washington Nationals Wednesday night never-ending game against the Dodgers, the MASN cameras picked up a great shot of Wilson Ramos in the dugout. The Nats catcher, nicknamed the Buffalo, had his Rally Hat on, a sideways cap that television announcer FP Santangelo dubbed the Rally Horn (because buffalo).  The horn was good for 3 runs that inning, and the Nats picked up the hard fought playoff-like victory. Here's another shot:

Return Of The Rally Pigeon Boosts Nats To Comeback Victory

DC Sports Nexus ---- Sunday, August 24, 2014

Well, maybe the players had something to do with it....

I don't know what it is with pigeons and baseball but those guys seem to love the game. They also appear to have no fear at all of being run over by a sprinting outfielder or getting hit with a hard line drive up the middle. On Sunday afternoon with the Nationals trailing 6-2 to the San Francisco Giants, a pigeon made its way onto the outfield grass behind 2nd base. What happened next was one of the most amazing innings of baseball of 2014, and another huge Nationals comeback.

Rally Runway: Newest Member Of FP's Exclusive Rally Club

DC Sports Nexus ---- Monday, April 15, 2013

FP Santangelo is a very superstitious broadcaster.  Anytime the Nationals have any type of rally, he looks for certain things that cause said rally.  And no, he isn't thinking about good baseball.  He is thinking about objects.

We call the collection of Rally Mascots "FP's Rally Club".  It's an exclusive club for those people/places/things/ideas that have helped the Washington Nationals score runs.  Following are some of the members.

Welcome The Nationals Rally Sasquatch!

DC Sports Nexus ---- Friday, September 7, 2012

During Friday night's broadcast of the Nationals vs Marlins matchup, the Nats mounted a comeback and went into the 8th inning down 6-5.  Michael Morse came up to the plate and the MASN camera cut to a guy wearing a beard/wig/rally-hat.  FP called it the Rally Napkin and a few pitches later the game was tied as Michael Morse jacked a solo homer.

FP also referred to it as the "Larry Leadoff starter kit" as the guy is most likely supposed to be Jayson Werth.

Earlier in the night FP added Rally Heads, and Rally Coconuts to the Nats Rally Team.  It's all rally all the time with the Nasty Nattys.  Some others:
