Nats Rally Song: Big Man Waiting, Written By Bob Carpenter

On Thursday night during the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros game, Bob Carpenter made the comment "Big man waiting" with Michael Morse in the on deck circle.  FP said it sounded like a country song, so Carp spit out the rest of the lyrics, jokingly claiming he "used to be a writer".

A few innings later the big man did some damage, putting a dent (maybe) into a billboard high up above the crowd in Houston after a homer.  Then, even later he hit a 2nd homer! RALLY SONG!


Bob said he would add new lyrics every time Morse did something on the roadtrip so a few late additions.  The lyrics:
