LeBryce ... Terrible Hashtag

DC Sports Nexus ---- Wednesday, April 3, 2013

During the 2012 MLB Playoffs, ESPN writer DJ Gallo suggested that in order to troll Bryce Harper (sarcastically) that fans should create hashtags on Twitter.  One of them he suggested was #LeBryce an homage to Lebron James.

Tweet your anti-Harper hashtags -- #LeBryce, #3pitchBryceout, #BryceChoker (the less clever the better) -- and let the world know that this remarkably talented teenager is a massively overrated failure.

However, despite the fact that Lebron is probably the best basketball player in the world, this was not a positive compliment.  Instead it was mocking the fact that Lebron was a choker in the playoffs, and that Bryce Harper was a choke artist in the 2012 MLB Playoffs.

That wasn't too long ago.  However since then, Lebron has been a superhuman (like RG3) and his team the Miami Heat had one of the best winning streaks in NBA history.  Plus (even at that time) he won a championship.  LeBryce is no longer a negative thing, but a compliment (at least according to this fan):
