Teddy Goes Green, Helps Discuss Sustainability

DC Sports Nexus ---- Saturday, April 20, 2013

The Washington Nationals are helping the Department of Health & Human Services & Secretary Kathleen Sebelius get the word out about sustainability and the correlation between going green and being healthy.  In the following video, Teddy demonstrates several different ways to stay healthy by participating in green activities like recycling, riding a bike, and eating a salad.

Secretary Sebelius says in the video that Nats Park is "one of the greenest stadiums" in the Majors and according to the Nats website:
"Nationals Park is the nation's first major professional stadium to become LEED Silver Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council"
