On April 25th, George Mason University held their 17th annual Victim's Rights Run & Walk, raising money to provide direct assistance to student survivors of sexual assault, stalking, and dating/partner violence. The special guests for the day were the Washington Nationals Racing Presidents.
Teddy, George, Tom, & Abe raced around the parking lot (I guess Taft doesn't care about people...update, he was apparently at another gig at the Library of Congress) at GMU along side the George Mason Patriot mascot. Then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, another big-head mascot came barreling around the corner.
The announcer (who's hilarious play-by-play excitement carries the video) announced to the crowd that the mystery racer was the new-ish George Mason University president, Angel Cabrera. The giant Cabrera swiftly ran past the Nationals more experienced racers (with a little help from the Patriot) and pulls out the big win.

According to GMU, proceeds of the event supported the George Mason University Victims of Violence Fund and the Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Program.
And yes, GMU is spending my tuition on giant replicas of current school employees..
