George Thorogood & Bryce Harper

Today the Nationals PR Twitter account posted this photo of Bryce Harper (In a Suns Out Guns Out Tank Top & headband) in the dugout talking with legendary "Bad to the Bone" rocker George Thorogood.

Thorogood was at one point a minor league player before he decided to go to being a Rock Star full time.  He is also a Mets fan.  And don't expect the huge baseball fan to be looking for any Bryce Harper autographs.  Read more about Thorogood and his baseball fandom at ESPN Page 2: An excerpt:

All my memorabilia, and all my cherished things are in my heart and in my brain -- although I do have a baseball cap that was autographed by both Joe DiMaggio and Willie Mays. That's the only thing I got -- only the two greatest players who ever played. (Laughs.) I don't believe in collecting things. I'm fond of saying, "It's not the things that touch your hands that matter, it's the things that touch your heart."
