The "Nexys": Mid Season Awards

You may or may not of known that the 2012 ESPYs (ESPN's sports award show) was last night.  Well there weren't any Nationals up for any of the awards, but here is a few of the best Nats moments (videos after the jump) from the first half of the season from us at the Nexus...




MVP:  Ian Desmond.  Batting .285 with 17 HR and 51 RBI.  Countless big 2 out hits and outstanding defense.  Mr.  Everything for this team during the first half.






Best Game: June 6th Nationals vs Mets.  12 inning see-saw affair.  Great game, great ending.


Best Moment:  Strasburg K's Youkilis for number 13.  Tons of great moments to pick from, but this was a personal favorite.


Most Memorable Moment:  Clown Question, Bro.  This will follow Harper his whole career.


Surprise Performer: Tyler Moore.  Harper, Desmond, LaRoche, Gonzalez are all playing great, but Moore is the most unexpected surprise.

 
Biggest Blooper: Harper Loses Ball.  We love Bryce, but this was funny.
