Dan Haren came out of nowhere to shut down the Braves as Washington defeated Atlanta 3-1 on Thursday night.  Haren gave up just 4 hits in 8 innings of work as the Nats rotation is on a roll.  As Soriano closed out the game and salvaged the series (2-2) with the Braves everyone untucked their shirts.  From Soriano, to the fans, to Ian Desmond, to even FP Santangelo, shirts out!

Bryce Harper and Jayson Werth returned to the lineup with Lombardozzi remaining in Espinosas spot, and all three looked good.  Werth left the game early for precautionary measures (due to some light rain) and will be day to day.  Davey said he "tricked" him by pretending his ankle hurt when it was his hamstring.  According to Julie Alexandria, Werth said "play me or trade me" before the game.

Denard Span was the star on offense going 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs and ending up on 2nd base on all 3 of his hits.  Rendon also hit twice out of three with a walk but will head back down to the minors as Zimmerman will return to the Nats on Friday.

The Nats struck out 12 times, but came out with the win.  Next up is a series with the Pirates in Pittsburgh starting Friday.
