The Nexiversary: Happy Hour & A Ballgame With The DC Sports Nexus

It's hard to believe but it has been one year since I took a few random blogs and combined them to form the DC Sports Nexus.  Each season for each sports team, fans helped the site grow into something really fun.

To celebrate, I thought it would be a good idea to do something that many of us have already been doing all Spring long.  Go to a Nats game and meetup beforehand for some drinks and discussion.  Sometimes they call it a tweet-up, but if you aren't on Twitter you can come too.  And what better weekend to get a bunch of DC Sports fans together then for a game against the hated Philadelphia Phillies.

So how do you join the fun?

1. Go HERE and purchase your Nats Party Ticket For May 25 (Includes Free Beer/Drink)
• If you already have a ticket, skip to step #2
2. Go to our Facebook Event Page, Like Us, then RSVP and invite all your friends
3. Head to the Scoreboard Walk Bar at 5pm or anytime before first pitch
4. Meet up with the rest of the Nexus crew and talk some baseball over beers!

The Party Night tickets sell out in advance of the game so the sooner you buy your ticket the better.  We have a group of seats in section 239.

We will also be giving away two sets of FREE tickets!

But it's a secret!!!  In order to find out when and how, follow us on FACEBOOK & GOOGLE+ as we won't be mentioning the giveaway on the website or Twitter.  Oooh, sneaky.
