Baltimore:
- Jim Johnson: Closer, 23 saves, 1.30 ERA.
- Adam Jones: Centerfield, .300, 19 HR, 41 RBIs.
- Matt Wieters: Catcher, .249, 11 HR, 38 RBIs, 36% throwing out baserunners.
- Gio Gonzalez: 10-3, 2.78 ERA, 108 Ks, 3 HR surrendered.
- Stephen Strasburg: 9-3, 2.81 ERA, 122 Ks.
- Ian Desmond: .276, 13 HR, 43 RBIs.
However, fear not! There is still a chance to vote in a player from each team in the final fan vote! Take a look at how they stack up against their biggest competition...
NL Final Vote:
- Bryce Harper: .274, 8 HR, 22 RBIs, one of the biggest stories in baseball right now.
- Chipper Jones: .291, 6 HR, 28 RBIs, probably playing his last of 19 seasons.
- Jason Hammel: 8-3, 3.29 ERA, 89 Ks, best pitcher on the surprisingly good Orioles.
- Yu Darvish: 10-4, 3.57 ERA, 106 Ks, first year in the majors after pitching in Japan.
Finally onto everybody's favorite part of any all star game....the snubs! This is who I think should of made the team from each club:
- Tyler Clippard: 13 saves, 1.89 ERA.
- Someone else from the O's Bullpen...
The biggest snub, in my opinion, from the Nats is T-clip. He has 5 less saves than Papelbon and a better ERA (Pap's is 3.03). Keep in mind Clip's not had the closer job all season.
