Nationals 2, Braves 0

Stephen Strasburg struck out the first 4 batters of the game on his way to 9 total after pitching 7 shoutout innings in a 2-0 Nationals home victory over the Braves on Saturday afternoon.  Strasburg only gave up 4 hits and improved his record to 6-1.  Clippard picked up his 4th save as the Nats snapped a 3 game skid.

The Nats could only manage 2 runs and 3 hits, both on Braves starter Brandon Beachy but it was all they would need with Strasburg on the hill.  A Jesus Flores solo shot and a Nady RBI double.  The only other thing of note was that Bryce Harper tried and failed to turn a single into a double.

Michael Morse made his regular season debut for the Nats going 0-4.  He is going to need a week or so to get back in the swing of things.

Oh and Dirk Nowitzki performed a concert after the game...
