The Nats couldn't get the sweep against Philly, but taking 2 of 3 ain't too shabby. Next up, a huge three game series in Atlanta against the Braves. Here's how the battle for first place in the NL East shakes down:
- Friday: 7:35 PM, Detwiler (3-3) vs Hudson (3-1).
- Saturday: 4:05 PM, Strasburg (4-1) vs Minor (2-4).
- Sunday: 8:05 PM, Gonzalez (6-1) vs Beachy (5-2).
The Strasburg game, which I would normally declare as a lock, has become a whole lot more intriguing because of the arm "soreness" following his last start. That said, the game of the series has got to be Sunday night baseball with Gio facing Beachy, who has been the best pitcher on the Braves staff.

Time for him to turn over a new leaf. We'll be waiting to cheer him on once he does.
There you go, turn the key and engine over. Let her go, let somebody else lay at her feet.
We need Henry to move past this and start playing well, even if its not as our closer.
